Good to know

  • Conserto or concerto? With an s, o conserto is a repair; with a c, o concerto is a music concert. They sound the same.
  • Mandar consertar means to have something fixed by someone else: Eu mandei consertar o carro. (I had the car fixed.)
  • Arrumar is a common, more casual word for the same thing: Você consegue arrumar isso? (Can you fix this?)
