Good to know
- Valer a pena means "to be worth it", on its own or with an infinitive: Vale a pena visitar Salvador. (It's worth visiting Salvador.)
- Valeu! is a casual way to say "Thanks!" in Brazil: Valeu pela ajuda! (Thanks for the help!)
- Não vale! means "That's not fair!" or "That doesn't count!", especially in games: Não vale olhar! (No peeking!)
