  • For hair, people also say pintar o cabelo all the time: Vou pintar o cabelo. (I'm going to dye my hair.)
  • Spelling: the g becomes j before o and a: eu tinjo, que eu tinja.
  • Same family: tinta (paint, ink, dye), tintura (hair dye) and the tinto of red wine: um vinho tinto (a red wine).
