Good to know

  • Directions: seguir em frente and seguir reto both mean "to go straight ahead": Siga reto até o semáforo. (Go straight until the traffic light.)
  • Seguir em frente also means "to move on" after something hard: É hora de seguir em frente. (It's time to move on.)
  • On social media, seguir means "to follow", and followers are seguidores: Você me segue no Instagram? (Do you follow me on Instagram?)
