Good to know
- Saber or conhecer? Saber is for facts, information and skills; conhecer is for people, places and things you're familiar with: Eu sei onde ela mora. (I know where she lives.) Eu conheço a irmã dela. (I know her sister.)
- Saber + infinitive means "to know how to": Você sabe dirigir? (Can you drive?)
- Soube often means "found out": Como você soube? (How did you find out?)
- Sei lá is a casual "I don't know" or "who knows": Sei lá, talvez amanhã. (I don't know, maybe tomorrow.)
