Good to know
- Rezar por someone, rezar para something to happen: Vou rezar por você. (I'll pray for you.) Rezo para dar tudo certo. (I pray that everything works out.)
- Rezar or orar? Both mean "to pray". Catholics usually say rezar; evangelical Christians usually say orar.
- Set phrases: rezar o terço (to pray the rosary), rezar a missa (to say mass). The noun is a reza (prayer).
