- Molhar or se molhar? Molhar is to make something wet. When you get wet yourself, use se molhar: Eu me molhei na chuva. (I got wet in the rain.)
- Molhar as plantas means to water the plants.
- Molhado means wet: O chão está molhado. (The floor is wet.)
- Eu molho (I wet) has an open o, "MAW-lyoo". O molho (the sauce) is spelled the same but has a closed o, "MOH-lyoo".
