Good to know
- Falar com: you talk to someone with com: Posso falar com você um minuto? (Can I talk to you for a minute?)
- Falar or dizer? Dizer means "to say" or "to tell", but in everyday speech Brazilians often use falar for both: Ele falou que vem amanhã. (He said he's coming tomorrow.)
- No article before a language: Você fala inglês? (Do you speak English?)
- Slang: Fala sério! means "Come on!" or "You're kidding!", and Falou! means "OK!" or "See you!"
