- Chegar em or chegar a? In everyday Brazilian Portuguese, people say chegar em casa and chegar no trabalho. In formal writing you'll see chegar a: chegar a casa, chegar ao trabalho.
- Chega! on its own means "Enough!": Chega! Vamos embora. (Enough! Let's go.)
