Good to know
- Achar or pensar? For opinions, Brazilians almost always say achar: Acho que vai chover. (I think it's going to rain.) Pensar is for the act of thinking: Estou pensando em você. (I'm thinking about you.)
- Giving an opinion about something: achar + the thing + an adjective: Achei o filme muito chato. (I thought the movie was really boring.)
- To find: achar also means finding something you were looking for: Achei minhas chaves! (I found my keys!)
- Short answers: Acho que sim. (I think so.) Acho que não. (I don't think so.)
